INCREDIBLE TURNAROUNDS SEEN IN WEEK 6 OF THE GUERNSEY MONDAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE

The Guernsey Monday Football League witnessed a riveting round of matches in its sixth week as teams in both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions battled it out on the field. The teams showcased their mettle with some surprising turnarounds and impressive high-scoring performances.

In the Premier League, Shane Schlong FC showed no mercy, steamrolling past Class On Grass FC with a 5-1 victory. Held Capdevila, not to be left behind, mirrored that scoreline against Spud Gun FC. Too Many Flutes FC silenced Slaughterhampton with a 4-1 win, while G A W S F C secured a comfortable victory against Six Offenders with a 4-1 score.

The Corner Shop made their fans proud with a commendable 5-3 win over Drench Wanderers. Guernsey New Saints registered a close victory against RH Utd with a 2-1 score. Greenhouse FC, however, stole the show with a massive 6-1 win against NottingYourMums Forest, marking the highest score of the evening.

The top scorers' list featured some standout performers. From Premier League, the players who stole the limelight were from Shane Schlong FC and Held Capdevila, each contributing significantly to their team's high-scoring wins. Meanwhile, in Division 1, Greenhouse FC's prolific strikers made the difference.
