Depays announce themselves in Kingsdown six a side

It was a night full of goals in the Leisure Leagues Swindon Monday six a side from Kingsdown School as Tidy Box stretched their lead at the top of the table following a slip up by Ooo Thiago Silva against Swinn.

The first match of the night had to be postponed after Bumfica failed to show up for their fixture. This meant that Tidy Box took an automatic 5-0 win but the plan is to reschedule the game for the following Monday.     However, as things stand Tidy Box maintain their 100% record this season and now have a comfortable lead at the top of the table.

The reason why their lead is comfortable is because their nearest rivals Ooo Thiago Silva were beaten 3-1 against the rapidly improving Swinn. Admittedly they had some key players missing but credit should go to Swinn for the quality of their performance. Over the first half of the season they have really started to gel as a unit and are now in a position where they could challenge for the runners up spot and a chance to enter the monthly prize draw at the end of the season.

In the final game of the night Who Ate All Depays made their first appearance in the league to beat the other new team Oxford United 4-0. They could cause a few upsets between now and the end of the season and may just upset the established order. Next week they play Ooo Thiago Silva which will be a really clear test of their credentials throughout the second half of the season. For Thiago it represents a must win game with Swinn just two points behind.

Which just over a month left in the current season we are looking for more teams to join the league ahead of the new season. The potential is there to extend the season to 8, 10 or even 12 teams.

Current teams can benefit from a FREE KIT or a FREE GAME if they recommend another team to the league.

New teams will benefit from FREE ENTRY, FREE KIT and their FIRST GAME FREE.
