Open night in new Swindon Monday six a side a great success

It was an excellent night ahead of the new league starting in the Leisure Leagues Swindon Monday six a side from Kingsdown School. With 2/3rds of the stunning 4G pitch booked we were able to have some exhibition games and test out the playing experience ahead of the new season. 

It was also a great to get a first glimpse at some of the teams that will make up the league. The standard is set to be high. Tidy Box in their green and white kit certainly look dynamic and full of running. They could be the early title favourites. However, Paragon FC and Ooo Thiago Silva also look like they will have something about them ahead of the new season. 

One thing that all teams must bare in mind is that the pitch is booked by other groups from 7. It is therefore imperative that teams arrive for the fixture in advance of their kick off time. If you arrive late you may be subject to forfeiture of the match. 

I look forward to seeing all the teams back at Kingsdown School next week for the first night of matches in the league proper.
