DFA secure maiden league title in Swindon Monday six a side

It was another great night of action in the Swindon Monday six a side football league at Kingsdown School as DFA secured their maiden title win after a points match victory against Swinn. 

It was also a great night for new team Juan-Ka as they got their first taste of six a side action as they stood in for Swinn and played against the best team in the league. They got a baptism of fire but know that it won’t get any harder than this game throughout the season. 

On the other pitch Social Distance showed once again that they will be a team to watch next season after they beat What’s The Story Kolo Toure in a tight game 2-1. 

In the late kick off Tidy Box tried their best to keep the league alive for the final week with 4-0 win against Select Few. However, even they would concede that DFA have been the better team this season and are more than worthy winners. 

If you are not planning to carry on in the league can you please let me know ASAP so I can plan for the new season.
