IMPORTANT NEWS

Disappointingly we have been informed that despite contacting teams regarding a few issues raised by staff at Kirby Muxloe FC some weeks ago, there are still a minority of people continuing to ignore certain policies.

Firstly, and most importantly we cannot stress enough that the football club is a NON SMOKING site. Players and spectators are not permitted to smoke whatsoever, anywhere within the ground.

We have also had reports of litter, mainly bottles being left behind by teams all over the pitches. All players must take any rubbish they bring with them when you leave the pitches, this is not the job of our officials or football club staff to be cleaning up after teams.

Finally, players need to ensure that football boots are clear of mud before you enter as there was a lot of dried mud left on the pitches after our games on Monday that has clearly been brought in by some players who have been playing on grass pitches beforehand.

Kirby Muxloe FC is the best pitch in the area and the place that we want our league to operate from for you all to enjoy and as I am sure you will all agree we cannot have a small minority of people ruining it for everyone else.

Our officials, along with staff from the Club will be keeping an eye out for any of the above issues moving forward and if anyone is caught doing anything that can cause damage to the pitches then they will be identified and banned permanently from the league. They will also be billed for the cost of any repairs / pitch cleaning that the Club has to undertake as a result of this.

Team captains are ultimately responsible for all members of your team and spectators so we need you all to pass on the message to all of your players and ensure that none of these issues apply to your players moving forward.

I would also welcome any teams that witness any of the above continuing to happen at the league to report immediately to our officials so that they can identify the individuals concerned.

If anyone would like to discuss further then please do contact Head Office on 0333 123 2340 or email [email protected]
