Wednesday 12th April - Macclesfield Round-Up

Welcome to the round-up of the Macclesfield Wednesday 6 a side league, where the teams took to the pitch at the home of The Silkmen, The Leasing.com Stadium, in fine fettle across all three divisions, except for the High Peak Hill Billies, who gave us a week's notice and will return on Wednesday 19th April.

In the Premier Division, Bantalona beat Scuttle Pigs 2-1 in a closely contested game, while Jasmin Juicemakers proved too strong for Neil's Diamonds, winning 7-0. The game between Murder on Zidane's Floor and Espagbol ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw, with both teams showing great determination to win. Allmand-Smith Army secured a 2-0 victory over Jasmine Jewels in their game, thanks to their strong defensive display.

In Division One, Ji Sung Park The Bus defeated Champagne Super Rovers 2-1, with a clinical performance from their strikers. Class of Twenty Two and White Nancy battled to a goalless draw, with both teams creating plenty of chances but unable to convert them into goals. FC Weston and Four Rings FC played out a high-scoring 4-4 draw, with both teams showing their attacking prowess. Silkmen Supremacy secured a 2-0 victory over Espagbol, thanks to a solid performance from their backline.

In Division Two, Adam Johnsons U16's drew 2-2 with MTP in a closely contested match, while Two Goals One Cup secured a 2-0 victory over BOZF. Kenny's Allstars showed their attacking flair, securing a 6-3 victory over Macclesfield Roadmen, thanks to a clinical performance from their forwards.
