Maidenhead Football Kicks off New Season with Exciting Matches

The Maidenhead Monday 6-a-side Football League kicked off its new season with a set of thrilling matches this week. Teams across five divisions – Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and Division 4 – competed with gusto setting the tone for an exciting season ahead.

In the Premier League, the match between OAKLEY FC and Jokey Foes ended in a 1-1 draw. Minty Biscuit triumphed over Bundalengerz United with a neat 2-0 victory, while Lads On Toure managed to score one against Inter Erbum FC. Just Wipin' FC showcased a commanding performance, annihilating Jelly Rig FC with a staggering 10-0 scoreline.

Division 1 saw GT clinch a narrow 1-0 win over Spandau Jallet. Tchouameni Men suppressed Pies on the Sideline 5-0, while Moore Fitness triumphed over Any Holes A Goal with a 1-0 victory.

Division 2 kicked off with Tanka W4nk3r5 securing a 4-0 victory over Arjen Throbbing. Six Pistols and Bin FC shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw, while Cippnaam FC narrowly edged out Free Points with a 2-1 victory.

In Division 3, Trust United dominated Fified Massive with a 4-0 win. Leah's Six Slaves defeated Small Feet Mcflurries 3-0, and RE UNITED triumphed over MathsDebaters FC with a 2-0 victory.

Division 4 saw a riveting match between Windsor Pieman FC and F ALEC, ending in a 3-3 draw. Osasuna Or Later emerged victorious against Fred West Ham with a 4-2 scoreline, while Furze Platt Old Boys defeated Only Kruls And Horses 5-3.

As the season has only begun, it's too early to predict the top scorers for each division. However, given the performances in the first week, it's fair to say that all teams have set the bar high and the competition is heating up.
