In the thrilling season opener of the Maidenhead Monday 6 a side Football league, football enthusiasts saw a slew of exciting matches, demonstrating the competitiveness of the league across all divisions.

Kicking off the season in the Premier League, Who Dat FC made a powerful statement with a 4-0 victory over Bundalengerz United, setting a high bar for the rest of the season. Labyrinth Legends also managed to edge out Tchouameni Men with a closely contested 1-0 victory.

In Division 1, Supersonic FC blasted Inter Erbum FC with a 4-0 triumph while Jelly Rig FC dominated Pies On The Sideline with an impressive 6-1 scoreline. Moore Fitness overcame Only Fools And Football FC with a 3-1 victory.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Agri Duda pulled off a narrow 3-2 victory against Spandau Bears. Small Feet Mcflurries and Jokey Foes showed their supremacy with 6-3 and 9-1 triumphs over Fobson FC and Queens Park Strangers respectively.

In Division 3, WWFC Reserves started strong with a 4-0 win over 2 Goals 1 Cup FC. Sin City FC and Pitch Predators ended in a 2-2 stalemate, as did Last Train FC and Lads On Toure OGz with a 1-1 draw.

In the Division 4, St Anne Of Greaves and Feel Matip registered commanding victories, scoring 11-2 and 4-0 over DFC Reserves and Negative Motion respectively. LA also managed to pull off a decisive 4-1 win against Furze Platt Old Boys.

Division 5 saw a narrow contest where Scared Of The Box fell 0-1 to 5 + Kyle. Division 6 had West Yam fall to Arjen Throbbing 1-3, while FC Desraq overwhelmed Holyport Hornets with a 6-0 win.

Finally, in Division 7, 6 Offenders triumphed over WalladsRus 3-1, Burnham Warriors crushed Peak Condition FC 8-1 and Ethnic FC secured a comfortable 3-0 victory against Da Bois.
