In the season opener of the highly anticipated Maidenhead Monday 6-a-side Football League, the buzz on the field was palpable. With teams battling it out across multiple divisions, the first week was a testament to the thrilling action we can expect from the remainder of the season.

The Premier League division saw Labyrinth Legends setting the pace, earning a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Borussia Snortmund. Joga Bonito FC also commenced their campaign on a high, edging past Moore Fitness with a 2-1 win. Only Fools And Football FC ended the night on a positive note, overcoming Tchouameni Men by 2-1.

In Division 1, Inter Erbum FC started their season with a dominating 4-1 victory over AFC Des. Queens Park Strangers and Agri Duda also secured their first wins against Boozed Up Ballers and Pies on the Sideline respectively.
