In a thrilling week of football, the Melton Mowbray Thursday league saw high-octane action in its Premier League division. Notable wins and outstanding individual performances marked week 4 of the season, and fans of the beautiful game were not disappointed.

The most sensational match of the evening was between the Midlife Mavericks and Expected Toulouse. In a nail-biting game, the Mavericks managed to edge out the opposition with a final score of 5-4. The win was primarily down to the superb efforts of their talisman, Dave, who netted three goals to top the division's scoring charts for the week.

However, the league's standout performer came from another match. Will Foldys of Spare Parts put on a masterclass performance in their tightly contested fixture against Blazing Squad. Despite the game being a low-scoring affair, ending at 1-0 in favour of Spare Parts, Foldys' play was a joy to behold. His control, vision, and game-reading abilities earned him the coveted title of the most valued player of the week in the Premier League division.
