Mildenhall Wednesday 6 a side end of season

The Mildenhall Wednesday 6-a-side Football league came to an exhilarating conclusion last night in the final week of the season. After ten weeks of fierce competition, Dream Team and Ipswich Downies emerged as the champions of the Premier League and Division 1 respectively.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Dream Team outclassed their opponents to clinch the title with a total of 15 points and seven magnificent wins. The final week saw some intense matches, with Casuals beating Mclovin FC 6-2, and Soham Boys Active achieving a 4-2 victory over Joke Club FC. 

DIVISON ONE

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Ipswich Downies displayed an exceptional performance securing the top spot with 15 points on the board and seven wins under their belt. We were on the edge of our seats when Athletico Pathetico lost to champions Ipswich Downies 3-1 while Lightning FC managed to edge past Galacticos FC in a thrilling 4-3 encounter to secure the other promotion spot, only missing out on the title on goal difference. 

The final week of the season also saw Juan Orrego from Lightning FC being crowned as the most valued player this season. His consistent performances throughout the season have played an instrumental role in his team's journey, earning him this prestigious accolade.

In conclusion, the Mildenhall Wednesday league has proven to be a testament to the spirit of football, with teams showcasing teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship.
