Mildenhall Wednesday 6 a side end of season round up!

MILDENHALL WEDNESDAY 6 A SIDE END OF SEASON ROUND UP

We had a great night of 6 a side football at Mildenhall Hub last night with some extremely close games. Casuals were unfortunately unable to raise a side to see their title in due to 11 a side commitments this week but we had an amazing title race in Div 1. 

CONGRATULATIONS TO CASUALS - PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

It's been an excellent battle throughout the season between Casuals and It's All Gone Shane Long who end the season level on points but Casuals picked up the title on goal difference to claim the top prize. 

CONGRATULATIONS TO GALACTICOS FC - DIVISION ONE CHAMPIONS

The Div 1 title race has been fantastic this season with all teams able to beat each other on their day. Galacticos FC rounded off a great season with a 6-5 win over FC Tigres En Ilamas to seal the Div 1 crown. Knappers held onto second spot despite a 4-3 defeat to an ever improving Moves Like Jannah team. The other game saw Ipswich pick up a 4-3 win at YMCA.

MVP AND GOLDEN BOOT AWARDS

Well done to Tom Bristley of Casuals on picking up the MVP award for this season. He also picked up the Premier League Golden Boot. In Div 1 the Golden Boot prize is shared between James Parker of Galacticos and Sam Bacon of Ipswich.
