Mildenhall Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 2

MILDENHALL WEDNESDAY 6 A SIDE RESULTS - MATCH DAY 2

In the second week of the ongoing Mildenhall Wednesday 6-a-side Football League, the competition in the Premier League and Division 1 started to heat up. Here's a look at the results as all 12 teams took to the pitch.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, reigning champions Joke Club FC showcased their domination by beating Casuals with a score of 3-0, hinting at their intentions for the rest of the season. Meanwhile, newly promoted Dream Team and Mclovin FC battled it out in an exciting 2-2 draw. Stardawg Steppas also found their stride last night, outscoring Soham Boys Active with a 4-2 victory.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Athletico Pathetico triumphed over Galacticos FC with a 6-3 win while Ipswich Downies managed to make it two wins from two with a 5-2 victory over Big Dogs. Leaders Lightning FC produced a scintillating display to defeat Mirror Signal Malouda 10-3 and remain top on goal difference.

Juan Orrego from Lightning FC was the standout performer in Division 1, netting four goals and securing his spot as the division's top scorer. His goal-scoring prowess and on-field dynamism were the talk of the night.

Yet, amidst all the competition and high-octane action, the most valued player of the week was Kieran Clements from Athletico Pathetico. Clements' performance was pivotal in his team's victory and his individual brilliance did not go unnoticed.

The excitement is building as the league progresses and we can't wait to see what the next week's fixtures have in store.

A big thank you to Brian for running the night and to all our referee's and players. Good luck next week!
