Mildenhall Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 3

In the heart of Mildenhall, our exhilarating 6 a side football league took place last night at Mildenhall Hub. The competition is heating up as we reached the third week of the season, with teams in both Premier League and Division 1 putting up nail-biting performances.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the highly prestigious Premier League, the Soham Boys Active managed to secure a 3-1 win over the Casuals, showcasing their dominance on the pitch. Meanwhile, Mclovin FC, driven by their top scorer Jack Austin, who netted a remarkable hat-trick, defeated Stardawg Steppas with a commanding 5-1 victory. Not to be left out, reigning champions Joke Club FC also etched their name in this week's headlines with a narrow 3-2 triumph over Dream Team who put in a top performance to push the champions all the way.

DIVISION ONE

Moving over to Division 1, there was no shortage of drama and excitement. Lightning FC took on Athletico Pathetico but struggled to keep up, resulting in a 6-2 loss. Athletico Pathetico's star player, Kieran Clements, was rightly crowned as the most valued player for the week, demonstrating an outstanding performance. Elsewhere in the division, Ipswich Downies, thanks to their top scorer Sam Bacon's heroic 3-goal contribution, humbled Mirror Signal Malouda 7-2 to go top of the league.

This week's matches were a testament to the intensity and passion of the league, with every team eager to climb their respective tables. As the season progresses, we are hooked and expectant for more breath-taking performances from these talented footballers. With so much still to play for, the Mildenhall Wednesday 6 a side Football league is shaping up to be an unforgettable season.

As always a big thank you to Brian for overseeing the evening and to our refs and players. Good luck next week.
