Mildenhall Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 5

We were treated with a spectacular show last night as week 5 of the Mildenhall Wednesday 6-a-side Football League took place, with teams from the Premier League and Division 1 divisions battling it out on the pitch.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Casuals demonstrated their superiority by defeating Mclovin FC 5-1 as they bounced back from last weeks loss to Dream Team. Rhys Mazey and Tom Bristley showcased their goal-scoring prowess by netting two goals each. His performance was rivalled by the exciting 7-2 win of Joke Club FC over Soham Boys Active. Dream Team also put up a strong display, bringing a 4-2 victory over Stardawg Steppas to make it back to back victories.

DIVISION ONE

Meanwhile, in Division 1, the evening was filled with high-scoring matches. Leaders Ipswich Downies triumphed over Athletico Pathetico with a 6-3 win. In a nail-bitingly close match, Lightning FC managed to edge past Galacticos FC 5-4. Mirror Signal Malouda topped the chart in a 6-2 victory over Big Dogs, with Josh Green, Callum Hartley and Kieran Pearson all grabbing braces.

As we inch closer to the end of the season, it's all still to play for. Stay tuned for more thrilling matches and outstanding performances in the upcoming weeks.
