MILDENHALL WEDNESDAY 6 A SIDE RESULTS - MATCH DAY 6

Our Mildenhall Wednesday six-a-side football league completed its sixth week of thrilling action last night, we saw some spectacular performances from both individual players and teams.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, competition was fierce, with new team Stardawg Steppas securing a 2-2 draw against Mclovin FC. The Casuals faced a challenging match against Soham Boys Active, falling 5-2 in an upset. The standout match of the division was undoubtedly Joke Club FC vs Big Dogs, a riveting contest that ended 5-3 in favour of Joke Club FC to see them move two points clear at the top.

Henry Crawford of Soham Boys Active rose above the pack to be the Premier League's top scorer of the week, with an impressive brace. His performance was instrumental to his team's victory and added another layer of excitement to the league's proceedings.

DIVISION ONE

Meanwhile, Division 1 saw some more one sided games this week. Leaders Dream Team dominated Lightning FC with a 9-1 victory while Athletico Pathetico struggled against Ipswich Downies, losing 11-2. Galacticos FC secured a comfortable 7-2 win over Schindlers Assist as they bounced back from defeat last week. Dream Team move two points clear at the summit with 4 games to go this season.

Division 1's top scorer was none other than Martyn James of Galacticos, who netted an impressive double hat-trick. However, his contribution extended beyond his scoring prowess. James' stellar performance across the league earned him the title of the Most Valued Player of the week, a testament to his skill and dedication on the field.

As the sixth week of the Mildenhall Wednesday league concludes, we look forward to another exciting week of football. The league standings, top scorers and standout performances continue to make both the Premier League and Division 1 an exciting spectacle for all involved.
