Pique Blinders win first Mildenhall 6 a side title

We reached the end of our first season at Mildenhall Hub 6 a side on Wednesday night. Thank you to all our teams on a great first season. The new one will get underway on Wednesday 13th October. Also a massive thank you to our match night supervisor Brian and refs Paul, Philip and Kevin.

Congratulations to Pique Blinders who pipped Murder On Zidane's Floor to the title on the final day of the season after they defeated Knights United 4-1 with goals from Jordan 2, Sam Long and captain Will Bales. This win took them top as Zidane's went down 8-2 to a strong Btownshaggers team who finished the season strongly in third. 

In other results Coby Poolton hit a hat-trick as Knappers beat I Hueng Me Son 5-0. 4 goals from Greg Rossier helped Tekkerslovakia to a 9-5 win over Ipswich while David Orbell found the back of the net 5 times as West Row Gunners went on to win 12-2 against Only Kruls and Horses. On a sour note we had a spitting incident in one of the match which has resulted in a ban for a player. The player has apologised and regrets the incident but is currently banned indefinitely. When something like this happens we are left with little choice and it's a shame.
