Zidane's & Pique with 100% records at Mildenhall 6 a side

It's been an excellent start to our first ever season at Mildenhall Hub 6 a side. Unfortunately we said goodbye to Inter Ya Nan who have been replaced in the league by Only Kruls and Horses.

The front runners at the top of the table are Pique Blinders and Murder On Zidane's Floor with both level on points and only separated by 2 goals with Pique top. Last night Pique faced tough opposition in third place Tekkerslovakia but performed when it mattered to take the points and a 3-0 victory. Captain Will Bales bagged a brace while Jordan was also on the scoresheet. Zidane's had their captain and the league's top goalscorer Keiran Wingfield to thank as they won 4-1 against West Row Gunners. Wingfield scoring a hat-trick to add to a goal from Ethan Banks while Carl Jackson scored for West Row.

In other results Knappers moved up to fourth with a 4-2 win over Ipswich. Jack Barnes with a man of the match performance and all four goals for Knappers while Rhys Parsons and Jack Turner netted for Ipswich. In the highest scoring game of the evening BTownShaggers scored 9 to I Hueng Me Son's 6 as both sides entertained. Ryan Colliss scored 5 for BTown while teammates Sheean and Hucksville got two each. Son's goalscorers were Kieron 3, Aaron Danbrowsky 2 and Freddie. Finally new team Only Kruls and Horses found it tough going as they went down 7-1 to Knights United. Kruls captain Tom stating that fitness rather than results was the key at this stage as his squad gets back to playing. Joe Jones banged 4 for Knights while Tafadzwas Faz hit a brace plus a goal for Kerry Pomfrett. Kruls consolation came courtesy of Ian Gabelli.

Thank you to all our teams and to our match night supervisor Brian along with refs Paul and Kev. See you all next week for match day 6. We will have space for two new teams next season so if you are interested in joining please register at the link below or get in touch on 07969 731086, Thanks Rich
