Lincoln Monday's 6 a side football league saw some impressive performances in Week 5 of the season. Division 1 saw Saints FC thrash Chartbeat Crusaders with a massive 13 - 0 victory. Meanwhile, Zinger Pinger Jaw Swinger managed to outperform Monstma Munch with a 4 - 2 victory. Insanity, unfortunately, suffered a 4 - 1 defeat against Coman Her Face.

In Division 2, Puyol Pants Down and Garribaldi FC played out a draw with a score of 1 - 1. Odem Chicken Wingies had an amazing game, netting eight goals against Real Mafridge who were unable to respond. JFC Vets managed to secure a 2 - 0 victory against Hungry Jippos.

As the season is coming to an end, there are only two more weeks left to secure a place for the next season. The top goal scorers for Division 1 are currently: Joe Smith from Saints FC with an impressive 18 goals, closely followed by Josh Jones from Zinger Pinger Jaw Swinger with 16 goals. In Division 2, the top goal scorer is currently Jack Brown from Odem Chicken Wingies with 14 goals, followed by Mark Evans from JFC Vets with 11 goals.

The league has seen some great performances throughout the season, and we look forward to seeing what the final two weeks will bring. It's still anyone's game, so keep practicing and give it your all to secure your team's place in the next season.
