It was another excellent evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches barring Unreal Madrid who had players on holiday.

In the Premier League, Dad Bod Athletic faced a tough challenge against Mass Debaters. Despite their valiant efforts, Dad Bod Athletic fell short, succumbing to a 4-0 defeat. Mass Debaters demonstrated their prowess, showing exceptional teamwork and clinical finishing to secure the victory.

In another thrilling encounter, Haven't Got A Kalou dominated Lads Army, claiming an impressive 6-0 win. The team displayed excellent attacking flair, leaving Lads Army struggling to contain their relentless offensive prowess. Haven't Got A Kalou's top scorers led the charge, leaving their opponents in awe of their goal-scoring abilities.

Meanwhile, Division 1 showcased equally exhilarating matchups. Avon Boyz proved their mettle with an outstanding 6-0 victory over City Boys. Their attacking prowess was on full display as they dismantled their opponents with clinical finishing and creative play. Avon Boyz's top scorers were instrumental in the victory, finding the back of the net with ease.

Not The Sunny demonstrated their dominance in a commanding 6-1 win over Dodwells 1581. Their relentless attacking pressure and solid defense left Dodwells 1581 struggling to find their rhythm.

In a closely contested match, Mick Huffers Seven clashed with Murder On Zidane's Floor, with the latter emerging victorious with a 2-0 win. Both teams displayed excellent defensive organization, but Murder On Zidane's Floor managed to break through and secure the win with clinical finishing in front of goal.

We are pleased to welcome new team Only Put Matip In to the league from Monday 17th July.  They come into Division One and replace the outgoing Mick Huffers Seven who have withdrawn for a short period, but we hope to see them back in future.  We wish the new boys good luck going into their debut game as they line up against Avon Boyz!
