Monday 10th October - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring TTAMMI who cancelled with 7 days notice due to holiday, but return to action on Monday 17th October.

Mass Debaters and Warriors met in the Premier Division in an entertaining game which ended 2 a piece, the first time in 12 months since Warriors haven't won for two games running.  Team 12 moved up to second place after winning an entertaining encounter against Kalou by 6 goals to 4.

Division One leaders Mick Huffers Seven made it three wins in four as they were convincing 7-2 winners over Combo FC, whilst Murder on Zidane's Floor moved up to second place after they were also big winners, running out 6-2 victors over Champagne Super Rovers, whilst Dad Bod dropped to third place after a 2-2 draw with Konig.

We thank all teams for their continued commitment and reliability to the league which keeps it running smoothly on a weekly basis, and look forward to seeing all teams in attendance for game week 5 with Nuneaton's premier small sided football providers!
