Monday 11th September - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams attending their matches as scheduled and some closely competed matches played in general.

In the Premier League division, Mass Debaters showed they are a force to be reckoned with after an emphatic 4-0 victory against Newdigate United. Mass Debaters' impressive ability to maintain control of the game suggests they could be unstoppable contenders this season.

Only Put Matip In scored a narrow 1-0 victory over Lads Army, underlining their ability to dig in and hold on under pressure. In another high-scoring showdown, Haven't Got A Kalou edged out Scofield Boys 4-2, demonstrating their offensive prowess.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Murder on Zidane's Floor and City Boys battled to a scoreless draw in a match where both defenses were resolute. Interestingly, Dodwells 1581 managed a 4-1 triumph over Not The Sunny, showcasing their dominance and solidifying their position in the league.

Dad Bod Athletic achieved a slim 1-0 victory against Unreal Madrid, highlighting their ability to secure critical points in tight games.
