Monday 12th December - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another superb evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night for game week 2 of the new season, and some excellent matches played across both divisions!

Warriors look to defend their title and got their second win in a row this week, beating newly promoted Murder on Zidane's Floor by a convincing 6-2 scoreline.  Mass Debaters were 3-2 winners over Grews Soldiers in an entertaining game, also collecting their second win on the spin, whilst Haven't Got a Kalou romped to an 8-1 win over another newly promoted team, Dad Bod Athletic to get off the mark for the season.

In Division One, Combo FC sit on maximum points so far this season, a second win on the spin coming in the form of a 2-1 scoreline over Konig  UK, a fixture that is always tightly contested between these two.  Farcelona got their first win of the campaign after dropping from the top league, they were dominant 7-0 victors over Champagne Super Rovers, whilst Mick Huffers Seven also got their first win this season as they thrashed Royal Dyche FC 5-1.
