Monday 14th February - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another good evening's football overall in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches, barring Bog Standard Liege who had cancelled with 7 days notice and return to action on Monday 21st February.

After playing out their withdrawal notice, DTB FC have withdrawn from the league.  We are delighted to welcome new team Murder on Zidane's Floor to the league as their replacement and wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Monday 21st February as they face Dad Bod Athletic.

Warriors carry on their blistering start to the season, not only winning their sixth game in a row, but keeping their sixth clean sheet in a row too!  They were 2-0 winners over Roll on Roll Off this week.

Cat And Genny continue to try and keep pace with the leaders, they recorded their fifth win in six in the form of a 3-1 scoreline over FC Benidorm.  Mass Debaters were comfortable 5-0 winners over TTAMMI to remain in third, and TTT stay level with them as they were 4-2 victors over Konig UK.  Haven't Got a Kalou rounded off the weeks action as they put their poor run of form behind them with a convincing 4-1 victory over Dad Bod Athletic.
