Monday 14th March - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches including new side ADR FC who played their first game with us since moving over from the Etone league.  They had a tough start against third placed Cat and Genny but put in a stellar performance going down 2-0 in the end.

Warriors made it a perfect ten this week but nearly blew it!  They were 3-0 in front against Dad Bod and seemingly cruising, then a couple of lapses in concentration saw Dad Bod come back into it, and level pegging!  A late winner saw Warriors come through to keep up their winning record, but they were made to sweat the most they have been this season for sure!

Mass Debaters looked disciplined this week and keep their place in second after overcoming Benidorm by a 2-0 scoreline.  TTT remain in fourth place after they recovered from last weeks defeat, beating Murder on Zidane's Floor by a 3-1 scoreline, whilst Konig UK and Roll on Roll Off completed the action in an entertaining 2-2 draw.
