Monday 15th May - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

The Nuneaton Academy Monday 6-a-side league had an exciting game week 9 on May 15th, showcasing some thrilling matches and welcoming two new teams to the Premier Division. However, there was a disappointment as TTT Return had a late cancellation and has been subsequently removed from the league. Nonetheless, the remaining teams displayed great sportsmanship and competitive spirit.

In the Premier Division, the first match featured Unreal Madrid and Unifabs FC, a debutant team. Both sides fought fiercely, but their defenses held strong, resulting in a goalless draw. The match was a display of unreal talent and solid teamwork.

Next up, the Mass Debaters clashed against Agger Diouf Diouf Diouf, another debutant team. The Mass Debaters brought their persuasive skills to the field, and their efforts paid off as they secured a hard-fought victory with a 1-0 scoreline. The Agger Diouf Diouf Diouf team gave a valiant effort but couldn't overcome the determined debaters.

In Division One, Murder on Zidane's Floor faced Dodwells 1581. Unfortunately for Murder on Zidane's Floor, their opponents proved to be ruthless on the pitch, netting four goals while keeping a clean sheet. Dodwells 1581 showcased their killer instinct and emerged victorious with a convincing 4-0 win.

Warnock Wanderers squared off against Dad Bod Athletic in a thrilling encounter. Both teams displayed their agility and determination. In the end, Warnock Wanderers managed to edge out their opponents with a narrow 2-1 victory. It was a hard-fought battle, leaving Dad Bod Athletic with a close defeat.

Meanwhile, Lads Army, who had already confirmed their promotion, showcased their dominance on the field against Mick Huffers Seven. Lads Army stormed their way to a resounding 6-0 victory, displaying their tactical prowess and disciplined play. Mick Huffers Seven struggled to contain the relentless assault from Lads Army.
