Monday 16th August - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another fantastic week of action in the Nuneaton Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some entertaining matches played throughout the night.

Warriors fantastic start to the season continues as they make it 6 wins from 6, their latest result the most impressive as they recorded an impressive 3-1 victory over last seasons champions Mass Debaters.

FC Benidorm remain in second place although they do fall three points off the pace after a 2-2 draw against Cat and Genny in an entertaining encounter.  

Elkins Boys moved into third place following their 5-2 win over Bagsy Not In Goal, whilst fourth placed Swallows AFC were 6-0 winners against TTAMMI to sit within reach of the top.

We are delighted to welcome new team Champagne Super Rovers to the league, they will be playing their first fixture with us on Monday 23rd August and fill the final space in the league.  We wish these good luck in their first fixture with us.
