Monday 16th January - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring a late cancellation from Mick Huffers who we thank for contacting us and look forward to seeing return on Monday 23rd January.

New boys TTT Returns had a tough start to the league as they came up against top of the table and the form team in Mass Debaters, who dispatched of them by 5 goals to nil as they search for the title this campaign after missing out so many times in recent seasons.  Warriors were 3-1 winners over Murder on Zidane's Floor this week as they remain two points off the leaders, ahead of the meeting of the  two next week in what promises to be an entertaining game.  Haven't Got a Kalou moved up to third with their second win of the season as they thrashed Dad Bod by 5 goals to 2.

In Division One, Farcelona were rampant in front of goal as the top v bottom clash threw up few surprises with the top team running out 9-0 winners to move two points clear at the top, as Combo FC were humbled by 6 goals to nil against Konig UK who leapfrogged them into second place.

We are pleased to see the league running so smoothly at present and thank all teams for their continued reliability and support, and wish all teams good luck going into game week 6 with Nuneaton's premier providers of small sided football!
