Match Report: Monday 19th June at Nuneaton Academy Sports Centre

The Premier Division of the Leisure Leagues Nuneaton Academy Monday 6-a-side league witnessed another thrilling round of matches on the premier 3G surface. With game week 3 underway, teams showcased their skills and determination to secure vital victories.

In the premier clash of the evening, the Mass Debaters continued their dominant run, clinching a third consecutive win and maintaining a clean sheet. Their defensive prowess left no room for debate as they triumphed over Agger Diouf Diouf Diouf with a resounding 3-0 victory. The Mass Debaters demonstrated their superiority and established themselves as the team to beat this season.

The Lads Army found themselves engaged in a hard-fought battle against Unreal Madrid. Despite their best efforts, the Lads Army couldn't match the resilience of the young and spirited Unreal Madrid squad. In a closely contested match, Unreal Madrid managed to secure a 1-0 win by digging deep and holding onto their early lead.

Haven't Got a Kalou, the reigning champions, unleashed an unstoppable performance against Dad Bod Athletic. Displaying their title-winning form, Haven't Got a Kalou showcased their attacking prowess and stormed to a massive 12-0 victory. Dad Bod Athletic found it challenging to contain the relentless onslaught from the reigning champions.

In Division One, the debutant team, Not the Sunny, faced a stern test against the formidable Avon Boyz. Despite their lack of experience, Not the Sunny put up a valiant effort and gave a good account of themselves. However, Avon Boyz proved too strong and secured a 2-0 victory, demonstrating their quality and experience in the division.

Murder on Zidane's Floor produced an impressive display against City Boys, emerging as comfortable winners with a 4-0 scoreline. Their attacking prowess and clinical finishing overwhelmed City Boys, leaving them unable to mount a comeback.

Mick Huffers Seven and Dodwells 1581 locked horns in a closely contested encounter. However, it was Mick Huffers Seven who managed to break the deadlock and secure a 2-0 victory. Their well-organized defense and opportunistic attack proved too much for Dodwells 1581 to handle.
