Monday 21st February - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent matches played across the division.

We welcomed new team Murder on Zidane's Floor to the league this week, they were 2-1 winners over Dad Bod Athletic in their first game which was an encouraging start for them to build on!

Warriors got another win this week but lost their clean sheet record at the seventh time of asking.  They were still 5-1 winners over FC Benidorm though and keep their maximum points record in place so far this campaign.

  Mass Debaters 2-1 win over Bog Standard Liege, and TTT's 3-1 win over Roll on Roll off saw both move to second and third place respectively, at the expense of Cat and Genny FC who drop to fourth place following a 5-3 defeat tHaven't Got a Kalou in an entertaining game!  

Konig UK moved up to eighth place in the table as they romped to victory over bottom of the table TTAMMI by 6 goals to nil.
