Monday 23rd January - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week once again, with all 12 teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions.

There was a big result at the top of the Premier Division this week, as Mass Debaters put themselves in a strong position to take the title, winning the battle of the top two as they put Warriors to the sword by 3 goals to nil which puts them four points clear with four to play.  Third placed Haven't Got a Kalou looked in fine form in front of goal this week as they thrashed TTT Returns 6-1, whilst completing the action was Dad Bods who got their first win of the campaign, beating Murder on Zidane's Floor 1-0 as they look to mount a survival challenge.

Division One leaders Farcelona show no sign of letting up as they look to seal promotion, they were 6-1 victors over Combo FC in a well competed game.  Konig UK remain second and two points off the leaders with a 2-1 victory over Royal Dyche, whilst Mick Huffers were comfortable 5-0 victors over strugglers Champagne Super Rovers.
