Monday 25th September - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Nuneaton Academy Monday league this week.  The only disappointment was a late cancellation from Mass Debaters who return to action on Monday 2nd October.

In the Premier Division, Lads Army celebrated a fantastic victory over Newdigate United with a scoreline of 4-1. Demonstrating exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship, Lads Army showcased a stunning performance that will be remembered for a long time. On the other hand, Scofield Boys emerged victorious over Only Put Matip In, with a notable 3-0 win, marking their dominance in the division.

Turning to Division 1, it was a goal fest for City Boys, who triumphed over Dodwells 1581 with a whopping 6-1 score, bringing themselves into the promotion race.  Murder On Zidane’s Floor also left an indelible mark on the division, vanquishing Dad Bod Athletic with an impressive 6-1 win. Not The Sunny didn't disappoint either, edging past Unreal Madrid in a tightly contested match ending 2-1.
