Monday 27th March - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed games played throughout the night.  The only exception being a late cancellation from Warnock's Wanderers who return to action on Monday 3rd April as normal.

Premier Division leaders Haven't Got a Kalou dropped a point for the first time this campaign as they were held to a 2-2 draw against a dogged TTT.  Mass Debaters were unable to reduce the arrears though as the second placed team stay three points off the pace, they shared a point apiece with Hearty FC in a thrilling 4-4 draw.  Elsewhere Konig UK moved up to third place as they won 2-0 against Farcelona in a well competed game.

Division One sees Dad Bod move to the top of the table with their 5-0 walkover this week, as Lads Army suffered a 4-2 reverse at the hands of Mick Huffers Seven who made it back to back wins.  Murder on ZIdane's Floor completed the action with a 6-0 hammering of Dodwells.
