Monday 2nd February - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Nuneaton Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.

In the Premier League, a nail-biting game unfolded between Dadshoes FC and Newdigate 182, ending in a slim victory for Newdigate 182 by 6-5. The evening was also marked by the authoritative victory of Mass Debaters over Nott In Your Mums Forest, with a clean sheet of 3-0. Adding to the thrill, Ruud Man Merky narrowly edged past The Manor FC with a final scoreline of 3-2. These matches were marked by both strategic play and high scoring, keeping the spectators on their toes until the last whistle.

In Division 1, Gangsters Allardyce succumbed to a crushing defeat at the hands of La Radnor FC with a score of 1-6, while Havent Got A Kalou defeated YouPlayWithFeathers by 4-0. The match between Wootton Street Wanderers and Truckers ended in a stalemate of 2-2, in an evenly contested match between the two sides.

The top scorers for the week from the Premier League were from the team Newdigate 182, showing their scoring prowess in the high scoring match. Meanwhile, in Division 1, the top scorers were from La Radnor FC, showing an impressive offensive play throughout the game.
