Monday 30th June - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance apart from Conkers FC, who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Monday 7th July.

In the Premier League division, the fixtures saw an array of both defensive and offensive play. The clash between Shaktar Senseless and Ruud Man Merky ended in a 1-1 draw, showcasing the tight competition in the league. Mass Debaters were narrowly defeated 1-0 by Nott In Your Mums Forest in a nail-biting match, while Wootton Street Wanderers edged out Leave My Arcelona in a seven-goal thriller, ending 4-3. The match between Fill Me Wycombe and Mandy Men also ended in a 2-2 draw, highlighting the evenly matched teams in the division.

Over in Division 1, Inter Ya Nan showed their offensive prowess by defeating Gangsters Allardyce 7-2, while Squid Game faced a tough defeat against The Crumble Boys, who walked away with a whopping 7-0 victory. Tooze Nil Up and WSW finished their match with a 2-2 draw, and King Street All-Stars triumphed over Dont Look Back In Elanga with a 3-0 win.
