Monday 31st January - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some entertaining games played throughout the night.

We are delighted to welcome new team Roll on Roll Off to the league this week, we wish these good luck on Monday 7th February as they fill the vacancy in the league!

Warriors remain top of the table and kept their fourth clean sheet on the bounce, as they were 2-0 winners over Mass Debaters.  TTT have had a fantastic start to the campaign too and sit just a point off the leaders, winning again this week by a 3-2 score line against TTAMMI in an entertaining fixture.  Bog Standard Liege and Cat and Genny both have six points from a possible eight as they sit in third and fourth respectively.  Bog Standard ran out 2-0 winners against Haven't Got a Kalou and Cat and Genny were convincing 6-2 victors against Konig UK.  FC Benidorm moved into mid-table and did so in style as they romped to a 5-0 win against DTB FC.
