Monday 4th March - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was another excellent week of 6 a side football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday league with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some entertaining matches played.

FC Cont's dominance at the top of the table continued as they destroyed Cabbage FC 12-0 this week, boosting their goal difference considerably meaning they now have the best in the league in addition to their three point lead.  Michu De Gea continue to plug away though and they remain in second following a 3-1 win against Shake and Bake.

99 Problems were held to a 0-0 draw by seventh placed Beating Chastards this week, although they sit third, realistically it will be hard for them to take the title now as they are 5 points behind the top.    Ford Sports more or less guaranteed themselves a top four spot as they beat fifth placed UK Flooring 4-0 putting a four point gap between the two.

Other action included a 5-1 win for Blink 1 Eto'o against Hardly Athletic and a 3-0 victory for Team 10 over Fillongley.

Good luck to all teams going into next weeks matches with Nuneaton's premier small sided football provider.
