Monday 6th February - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all 12 teams in attendance for their matches and some well competed matches played as ever!

Premier Division leaders Mass Debaters are now champions with two games to spare, as their fantastic season continued this week, an eighth win in a row came as they edged past Dad Bod by 3 goals to 2, the bottom team giving the champions a superb game.  Haven't Got a Kalou stay in second place after a goal difference boosting 8-1 hammering of Murder on Zidane's Floor, whilst Warriors sit third as they were narrow 2-1 winners against TTT Return.

Farcelona remain on course for the Division One title after they cruised to a 4-1 victory against Mick Huffers Seven.  One more win should seal the title for them given their superior goal difference on second placed Konig UK, who were 5-1 winners over Champagne Super Rovers as they look to be promoted now barring disaster, but the title is still to play for at this stage.  New boys Hearty FC got off to an encouraging start this week as they won a closely competed game against Royal Dyche by 3 goals to 2.
