Monday 7th July - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Monday 6 a side league this week.  We were however disappointed to see non-attendances from two teams. The Crumble Boys and Leavemyarselona, both of which have been removed for their failures to contact us.

We welcome two new teams to the league on Monday 14th July.  Good luck to Puyol Pants Down and Backstreet Moyes going into their first fixtures.

In the Premier League Division, the games were fiercely contested. Nott In Your Mums Forest triumphed over Fill Me Wycombe in a closely contested match that ended with a scoreline of 3-2. Mandy Men outplayed Ball Of Duty with a decisive 3-1 victory, asserting their dominance on the field. Mass Debaters edged out Ruud Man Merky in a nail-biting encounter which ended 1-0. Lastly, Shaktar Senseless secured a 2-0 win against Wootton Street Wanderers.

Over in Division 1, the King Street All-Stars took the win against La Radnor FC with a 2-1 scoreline in a game that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. Tooze Nil Up showed their prowess by trouncing Squid Game with a staggering 7-0 victory. Conkers FC and Inter Ya Nan had a thrilling face-off with the latter securing a narrow 2-1 win.
