Monday 7th November - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, including new team Farcelona who played their first fixture and ran out impressive 4-0 winners over Royal Dyche FC.

Warriors went back to the top of the table after their 4-1 win over Grews Soldiers, coupled with Mass Debaters 4-3 defeat to Haven't Got a Kalou was enough to put them at the summit ahead of the meeting between the two teams on 14th November which could be a title decider.

Division One leaders Dad Bod suffered a 6-2 defeat to Mick Huffers which sees them sit neck and neck at the top, with 2 goals splitting the two sides.  Murder on Zidane's Floor shared a point apiece with Combo FC in a 1-1 draw which saw Murder slip to third in the table.  Konig UK completed the action as they thrashed strugglers Champagne Super Rovers by 9 goals without reply.
