Monday 9th January - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week as we returned to action for 2023 with all teams in attendance for the first matches of the new year.

We are delighted to confirm the addition of TTT Return to the league from Monday 16th January, as the name suggests they have played with us before, and we wish these good luck going into their first match against Mass Debaters.

The league leaders Mass Debaters made it 3 wins in a row this week as they were comfortable 3-0 victors over Haven't Got a Kalou.  Warriors returned to winning ways after defeat before Christmas, but had to work hard for the points this week as they eventually overcame a stubborn Dad Bod's by a single goal.

In Division One, Farcelona stay top of the pile after a third win in four games came in the form of a 3-1 win over Konig UK, whilst Combo FC moved into second and level with the leaders after they were comfortable 5-0 winners over Mick Huffers Seven.  Royal Dyche got off the mark for the season and leapfrogged Champagne Super Rovers in the table after running out 2-0 winners.
