Nuneaton Monday 6 a side league update 24th July

On the whole, the Nuneaton Monday 6 aside league held at The Academy ran well but we did have an issue with Avon Boyz. They have now been removed from the league as we do not accept anyone abusing fellow players and especially our officials. This does mean that we now have 1 space in the league but we would rather that than have abusive players taking part.

In the Premier division, Unreal Madrid faced off against Lads Army in an intense encounter. Unreal Madrid managed to secure a narrow 1-0 victory, showcasing their defensive prowess. Meanwhile, Dad Bod Athletic suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Haven't Got A Kalou, with the scoreline ending 10-1 in favor of the latter. Haven't Got A Kalou demonstrated their exceptional attacking skills, leaving their opponents struggling to contain them.

Moving on to Division 1, Avon Boyz clashed with Not The Sunny. In a highly competitive game, Not The Sunny emerged victorious with a convincing 3-0 win, displaying their quality both in attack and defense. City Boys and Murder On Zidane's Floor engaged in a closely fought match, with the latter emerging triumphant with a slender 2-1 scoreline. The game showcased the determination and skill of both teams, making it an exciting encounter for spectators. Finally, Dodwells 1581 faced Only Put Matip In, with the latter emerging victorious with a comfortable 4-1 win.

With only two weeks remaining in the season, teams are now entering the final stretch as they strive to secure their place for the next season. Expectations are high as the competition heats up in both divisions, with teams battling it out for the coveted top spots.
