Monday 25th October - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance barring a cancellation for a second week running by Norfolk N Chance, they have now been removed from the league.

We welcome new team Crouch Potato to the league on Monday 1st November, as a replacement for the above.  We wish these good luck going into their first fixture with us!

Warriors incredible season continues having recorded their 14th win in 15 games, and a sixth win in a row to boot.  They were made to work for the win this week though against a Bog Standard Liege side who pushed them all the way, Warriors eventually triumphing by a 3-2 scoreline.

The above scoreline also saw Bog Standard drop to fourth place from second, as Mass Debaters moved into second with a 3-0 win over James Ate All Depays, whilst Elkins 4-0 win over FC Benidorm moves them up to third.

Bedworth CC and TTT played out a five goal thriller, with Bedworth running out 3-2 winners to remain in sixth place.  

Cat and Genny rounded off the nights action with a 6-0 thrashing of new side Dad Bod Athletic who continue to try and get to grips with the league.
