Monday 4th February - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another excellent evening of 6 a side football at Nuneaton Academy on Monday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled including new team Blink 1 Eto'o who played their first match since rejoining, and they picked up an impressive 3-0 win over Team 10 in their opener.

In the battle of the top two this week there was a rather surprise result as FC Cont thrashed Michu De Gea 4-0 to show their intent in their first full season, they now sit one point clear of second place.

99 Problems also lost ground in third place as they slipped to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Ford Sports who sit in fourth and are now just two points off third place.

New side Fillongley 3rd's made it 2 wins out of 2 since they joined the league, they won 1-0 against Beating Chastards this week.

Other action saw Shake and Bake overcome UK Flooring Direct 3-2 in an entertaining match, whilst Hardly Athletic were 3-1 winners over Cabbage FC.
