Sunday 15th May - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good start to the new season overall in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring Exeter Gently who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 22nd May.

The Allies FC got off to a good start as they were 2-1 winners over newly promoted No Cup FC in a big first game of the season as the new boys had a fantastic record in Division One last season so looked to be possible contenders this season.  Elsewhere, Borussia Teeth got off to a good start, running out 4-1 winners over Yerrr.

Division One new boys Emile Sniffs Snow got off to a flying start as they thrashed Rainbow Sparkles by 7 goals to 1, looking like an impressive addition to the league.  Dixy Pigeons also got off to a winning start as they edged past Egg Fried Reus 2-1 in a closely competed game.  Hardly Athletic completed the league action as they shared the spoils with Extra Special Ones in a 1-1 draw.
