Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league update 23rd July

The Nuneaton Sunday Football League was once again abuzz with exhilarating matches as Week 2 unfolded. 

In the Premier League, Lad On Toure faced off against THE ALLIES FC, but struggled to find their rhythm as they were overpowered and defeated 0-2. THE ALLIES FC's flawless teamwork and clinical finishing secured them the victory.

Division 1 witnessed Egg Fried Reus dominate Gylfis Young Boys with an impressive 3-0 win. Their top scorers, who will undoubtedly be remembered for their extraordinary efforts, showcased their goal-scoring prowess. FC POSITIVITY secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Homo Sissoko, while Extra Special Ones and Kroos Control FC settled for a 1-1 draw. Unipart United and The BackStreet Moyes put on a thrilling display of skill and determination, with The BackStreet Moyes ultimately emerging victorious with a narrow 3-2 win.

In Division 2, there were a series of nail-biting encounters. Globo Gym Purple Cobras emerged as winners in a tightly contested match against Kevos Kids, finishing with a slender 1-0 victory. Rainbow Sparkles secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Tuffnells FC, while Sky Blue Army dominated with an emphatic 6-1 victory over Hardly Athletic. Jubilee Juggernauts faced a tough challenge against Tekkerslovakia, succumbing to a 4-1 defeat.

Division 3 matches were equally enthralling. Murder On Zidanes Floor displayed their attacking prowess and emerged victorious with a convincing 3-0 win over Bank FC. Ricky Spanish FC secured a narrow 1-0 victory against KBTS, while Do-little FC and Schindlers Assist played out an exciting 2-2 draw. The Griddlers showcased their dominance with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Set 8.

The individual performances of the top goal scorers in each division cannot be overlooked. Their contribution to their respective teams' victories was remarkable and deserves recognition.
