A good evening's football in the Nuneaton Monday 6 a side league overall this week.  We did have a few cancellations but look forward to seeing everyone return for the next round of fixtures.

Unfortunately following on from their conduct in only their second game in the league, we have removed Stoners FC from the league with immediate effect. We will not tolerate violent conduct within our leagues.

We welcome new team Newdi Old Boys to the league and wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Sunday 3rd May.

In the Premier League, THE ALLIES FC delivered a crushing defeat to TOPSPUR, with an impressive score of 8-1. This victory reinforces THE ALLIES FC’s prowess on the pitch, and sets them up as strong contenders as the league progresses.

Division 1 saw a high-scoring game as Salah-vation Army faced off against 2nd A Town. Despite a valiant effort, Salah-vation Army fell short, losing 3-7 to 2nd A Town. Meanwhile, Zooted And Booted outplayed The Ladthsss with a solid 5-2 win. Hardly Athletic showcased their dominance with a 5-1 triumph over Ricky Spanish FC, rounding off a highly competitive week in Division 1.

Over in Division 2, Barely Athletic bagged a 3-1 victory against Stoners FC. Tuffnells FC and Tactics AFC played to a 3-3 draw in a highly contested match. Wootton Street Wanderers narrowly missed out to Blitz FC with a 1-0 loss. Lastly, Borussia Teeth and Rainbow Sparkles ended in a 1-1 draw, demonstrating the evenly matched competition in this division.

While individual top scorers were not disclosed, the high scoring games indicate prolific scorers within teams like THE ALLIES FC, 2nd A Town, and Zooted And Booted.
