Sunday 15th February - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring a couple, who will be spoken to accordingly.

In the Premier League, King Street All-Stars maintained their dominance, delivering an impressive performance as they outplayed Norfolk N Chance with a 5-2 victory. EEFC also held their ground, overcoming Puyol Pants Down by 4-1, while THE ALLIES FC edged past Stevos Turtle Beach Headset with a 3-2 triumph. The top scorer in the Premier League was the outstanding forward from King Street All-Stars, with 5 goals this week.

Over in Division 1, Zooted And Booted laid down a marker with an outstanding 9-2 triumph over Extra Special Ones, while Ricky Spanish FC narrowly lost to 2nd A Town with a 3-2 scoreline. The Ladthsss also fell short, losing 1-0 to Salah-vation Army. Zooted And Booted's striker was on fire, scoring an impressive seven goals to top the division's scoring charts.

Division 2 was not short of action either, with Borussia Teeth and Tiki Tanaka battling it out to a 2-2 draw, while Wootton Street Wanderers gave a masterclass performance against Tuffnells FC, ending the game at 5-0. The top scorer in this division was the star player from Wootton Street Wanderers who netted all the 5 goals for his team.
