Sunday 15th January - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent football played across both divisions.

We are pleased to confirm the addition of Shed FC to the Premier Division this week, they move over having been crowned champions of Etone on a Sunday so are looking for a fresh challenge!  We wish these good luck going into their first game against Gylfi's Young Boys.

Jack's Army remain in second place in the Premier Division after they ran out 4-0 winners over Sky Blue Army, keeping them a point off leaders Borussia Teeth who had a 5-0 win this week.  The Allies got back to winning ways as they were 2-0 winners against Dixy Pigeons, whilst Gylfi moved up to fourth as they came out on top of a five goal thriller, beating Misfits 3-2.

Division One is led by Extra Special Ones, and they racked up a fourth win in a row this week, beating Globogym 2-1.  Wanyama's dropped points for the first time this term but stay in second, they were held to a 2-2 draw by Hardly Athletic, whilst Egg Fried Reus climb a place to third after a convincing 4-1 win over Depays.  Kroos Control and Rainbow Sparkles completed the action in the division as they drew 1-1.
