Sunday 1st September - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening of 6 a side football at Nuneaton Academy on Sunday with all teams in attendance for their fixtures apart from Dark Fruit FC who will be spoken to accordingly.

It's tight at the top of the Premier Division with Sky Blues 87 and Exeter Gently separated only by goal difference.  The 5-0 win for Sky Blues in the absence of Dark Fruit puts them at the top of the pile at the moment, whilst Exeter ran out 2-1 winners against Inter YN.

In Division One Trees Are May remain top of the table following a 6-2 victory over Misfits, their lead extends to three points after second placed Extra Special Ones were held to a 1-1 draw by Egg Fried Reus.  Dixy Pigeons moved 2 points clear of bottom of the table Egg Fried Reus who they beat 1-0 in a hard fought encounter.
